Facility Manager



Position Summary

The Facility Manager will oversee grain being received, stored, and shipped while ensuring facility is run safely and efficiently. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Selects, trains, and develops elevator operations staff and seasonal employees
  • Supervises elevator operations staff and conduct employee reviews
  • Oversees the daily work of the facility and equipment maintenance
  • Manages the work of employees in the movement of grain between bins at facility
  • Maintain grain quality by segregating, drying, blending, and aerating grain
  • Ensure safety meetings are held regularly and safety records and training are kept up to date
  • Maintain accountability for safety in all aspects of operations per OSHA guidelines
  • Ensure integrity of specialty crop program
  • Develop relationships with facility employees as well as farmers and truck drivers


Education, Experience and Licensure

  • High School graduate with 5 years of prior experience
  • AS or BS degree preferred
  • Dependable/flexible in work hours to meet the needs of customers and during harvest

Salary:  Commensurate with experience
